Hey You! Come in

Emotions make humans very unique and distinct as a species in this world full of life forms.
So let’s talk about emotions today. Which one comes to your mind?

Love? Naah …... aren’t we too young and naรฏve for such an extensive topic?
Anger? No …… too intense.
Pride? …… too fragile.
Excitement? Surprise? ….. too ostensible
Fear? …… Haven’t we talked about it already?
Contempt? Disgust? …… too hateful. We are already said to be an intolerant nation. No risks!
Sadness? …… too TIK-TOK-Y. ❤️
What next then? Looks like I am drained out of ideas and you are now in a thought process. Good, I
want that. I like build-up like every South-Indian actor's entry scene ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž . Are you curious about the
topic? Why not talk about curiosity then? Now, most of you will certainly Google whether curiosity is
an emotion. No, it isn’t. All those poetic lines with a hell lot of question marks merely to
1. show-off my vocabulary and
2. give a dramatic effect to an average topic?
Yes! ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
Anyway, there couldn’t have been a better time for this drama than now when you cannot
come to my home throwing stones like those people throwing at doctors in Indore. Bad luck, it’s
a lockdown. Stay home Stay safe.

Curiosity has always been the reason behind every creation, the motivation behind every initiative;
the drive behind materializing every imagination. Curiosity is said to be the mother of knowledge.
Our curiosity has not only led to the exploration of the Earth but also the craters of Mars since August 6,
2012 (excuse the pun). The book of Genesis proclaims that Eve’s curiosity about the forbidden fruit
was responsible for the fall of man and the birth of evil. Who knows, maybe even GOD made us out
of curiosity.

An infant is curious about the moving fleshy shadows around him, talking to him. So he stares at
them with innocence and eventually learns to differentiate between the affectionate looks of his
caretakers and the monstrous looks of people like me. (Yeah, babies hate me.)

A toddler crawls to every imaginable corner of his house for no apparent reason and eventually
learns to differentiate between the allowed and restricted areas on the basis of scolds from his
Daddy. He bites and swallows everything he manages to lay his hands on just to find out the use of
his tiny baby teeth. It's again by hit and trial of his own first-hand experiences of biting a beetle or
tasting a Neem leaf that he learns what is edible and what isn’t.
A preschooler is said to have the highest rate of physical, intellectual and social-emotional
development as compared to any other age group because he is damn curious to know about
everything he can point his finger at (What’s this? What’s that?), as well as an infinite persistence to
mug those names up.

A school kid good in Maths along with his parents are curious about life in and post IIT. Every year
1M students and their 2M parents yield to this curiosity of theirs and coaching centers get truckloads
of admissions. This is how their curiosity teaches them to embrace their mistakes and learn
 “IIT เคฎें เค•ुเค› เคจเคนीं เคฐเค–ा เคนै”
irrespective of whether they qualify JEE or not.

A teenager is curious about his sexual identity so he starts his quest with searching the meaning of
SEX in an Oxford dictionary and ends up revising the 8 th chapter of 10 th class Biology almost a
hundred times ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ and watching a hell lot of porn. His curiosity persuades him to try alcohol and
cigarettes and drugs in college. So he finally understands that it is not prudent to yield to his
curiosity every single time at the cost of morality, health, time and energy.

We learn because we are curious to know about what we don’t.

By the way, were you expecting another paragraph on an adult's curiosity?
I am sorry, we don’t do that here. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
In our country, curiosity is a bad thing, my friend, and a curious boy a bad boy. Rarely does a man
manage to protect his curiosity till adulthood.

Don’t people wonder and question and exhort you the wrongness of the act when they see a book of psychology in your hand whereas you are an engineering student?

Didn’t your parents ever sell or hide your old Tell Me Why's because they felt you must give your whole time to course books instead of those GK magazines?

Don’t people ask you to wake up from your dreams when you tell them about your curiosity to see all the beautiful places in the world, to go on a world tour?

Aren’t you considered rude when you question your parents’ and grandparents' conservative mindset or
the logic behind their superstitions?

Aren’t you branded as a lunatic when you talk about trying a profession that doesn’t align with the field of your study?

As a part of the mediocre society, we are not supposed to be attracted to unknown things and
unknown people. We are supposed to take no action driven by curiosity.
Whenever you question the predefined, they tell you are a miscreant in this otherwise principled
society. Be silent, and you will become a Sharma Ji ka beta ๐Ÿ˜œfor your neighbour uncles and aunties;
an epitome of maturity for your family.

No lengthy sermons can transform a person, they can only inform him about the need for
transformation.
Remember dude, don’t let your curiosity die. Fuck it if the world needs it or not, you definitely
do…and that’s what matters…

One where it all faded

There was a ray of light,  Once shined bright as the lamp post of dead night.  Forever it said, it will shine, walk through the path to the final shrine,  I walked, i fell, i crawled, i fainted, I opened my eyes and i still waited, The light forgot my eyes,  Took a turn and went for skies, I was promised forever,  but it is beyond forever where my soul flies

The one who speaks but never answers.

India is a democratic country. We have enjoyed and harnessed several of its democratic features throughout our lives. But we can all agree that there is one idiosyncrasy missing in the 21st century . The very essence of democracy that 'the government elected by the people is answerable to them' seems to exist no more. From 2004 to 2014, we had a prime minister adorably labelled as the majority's  'mute PM.'  He seemed to bite his tongue on many grave matters. Consequently, our people lost their belief in their leader, and the result was evidently devastating for Congress. Miraculously, we saw hope in Modi Ji , the guy who would speak up for everything, talk about all the good things the citizens wanted to hear. We finally had a leader who spoke, voiced our needs, responded to our queries, travelled the world, and told us what India was and where it deserved to stand in the global picture. But seemingly, it was all a bare-faced lie. We all became devotees of a polit...

Ye Rishta Kya kahlata hai? Child Marriage

Child marriage memes and Rajasthan are linearly correlated. Seems like those memes have inspired the Gahlot government.                                       Earlier, laws ensured up to 2 years of jail to parents who married their daughter before she turned 18 or son before he turned 21 . People would therefore stay in constant fear of getting caught and jailed, and fined. It did curb child marriages to some extent if not all. Even if some took place covertly, they'd wait for the kids to attain majority and then apply for marriage registration. Whereas now, the couple will just need to go to the marriage registration officer of their area, catch him in a good mood, get their child marriage certified, and live happily ever after...until a dowry case is filed!                                       The...
